Over the past year, we have witnessed the exponential growth of Layer2 ecosystem, such as Polygon, Avalanche, Optimism, and Arbitrum. Although, there are official cross-chain bridges, however, it takes long time (7 days) to cross back to the mainnet. To solve this problem, there are few cross-chain platforms, that provide instant liquidity to users to cross among different chains. Based on my research and hands-on experience, I have found the following cross-chain platforms, that are safe, user-friendly, and fast.
Hop.exchange. You can cross assets among Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, xDai, Optimism, Arbitrum.
Across.to. This is a new project, currently, you can only cross from Arbitrum to Mainnet, and it is extremely fast, usually take 2 minutes. You can also add liquidity to the platform.
Xpollinate.io. This is also a good cross-chain platform powered by connext. However, I find the liquidity is sometimes limited, and “couldn’t find a route”. Hopefully, as more users use this platform, there will be more liquidity to use.
