As we enter into 2022, it is a good time to reflect on this past year. Around Fall we had two private space launches via Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin. We also have everyone’s favorite fanboy in Elon Musk stirring the pot. So, the question is where do we go from here with space? Personally, I have a stock holding in Virgin Galactic, and it seems like a lot of the hype has died off.
The younger generation is still interested by space, and we are not just talking about Star Trek either. I’m talking about reaching out and exploring space in ways that we could never imagine. People say that space is the final frontier, and they are right! It just depends on how long we take to develop the technology, but we all know that it will be ready one day.
If we are going to dream, then let’s dream big. Let’s imagine a new way of exploration, and the challenges that may come with it. Let’s go ahead and discuss some of the issues that are going to arise about our role to protect nature and the need to make a profit. Stay tuned to this account to follow the conversation and remember that one day we will be among the stars, next time you look up at them.
