I’ve been debating starting a mirror blog for some time now. This is my sixth consecutive month experimenting in the world of crypto, NFTs and Web 3 and learning all about it on the way. I’ve seen numerous nft projects spawn and die, rug pulls, scams and conversely, the beautiful beating heart of the community that glues it all together. It’s been a bit of a wild ride for someone completely new in crypto, having to start from the ground up to really understand how all of this is possible, how transactions take place, how blockchain technology actually works and with the exciting, emerging space of nfts taking the world by storm, how to truly identify a valuable project with a solid team and deeply connected community. My hopes are to create a space here where I can transparently document my journey in all things crypto, web3 and nfts, share what I’ve learnt along the way as a hungry researcher gobbling up information like there’s no tomorrow. Soon I’ll be posting some resources for the best places to get your information if you’re just starting out (no endorsements or shilling included) and share some simple, practical guides for how to get started and actually have fun in this space. I’ve been a writer on and off for the past 16 years from my adolescence to adulthood and I’m trying to flex that muscle again and develop myself more as a writer
A little bit about me:
I have multiple artistic disciplines because I’m non-committal when it comes to limiting myself to only one medium of expression
Some of the things I do include: poetry, fiction writing, music production, visual arts in mixed media, photography, screenwriting and directing film
I entered the market on January 4th 2022 after a lot of due diligence, research, hesitation and doubt. Obviously my tiny account got wrecked with the volatility from the Kazakhstan BTC hashrate fiasco at the beginning of the year but I’ve taken the opportunity during that time to register an ENS domain, mint my first photography nft on Zora and take some time experimenting and transacting with Rainbow Wallet (Absolute best & most fun to use Ethereum wallet in the entire world). I don’t have a stable income right now so I’m limited with the amount of liquidity I can put into play, but that doesn’t mean I can’t experiment with protocols and Layer 2’s as a means of getting the most out of my investments
Until next time friends,
