In the module, we walk users through blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, and downloading a MetaMask wallet so they can interact within the Ethereum (and EVM-compatible) network(s).

Parrot is a web3 onboarding platform with an emphasis on community knowledge-sharing and Socratic teaching.

As more and more of our assets and finances move on-chain (web3 backend), Parrot’s mission is to cultivate an inclusive onboarding experience to the new financial world as it unfolds. Web3 offers access to open-source financial technology and allows people to transact without the need of an intermediary. All one needs is an internet connection. Additionally in web3, one has more ownership of one’s digital assets, which is incredibly exciting.

However, part of a financial system’s strength is our ability to trust it. Web3 is filled with memes, insider terminology, and confusing, technologically complex token-economics. This might feel intimidating and unwelcoming to many who would like to passively engage or gain exposure to a new asset class.

Parrot aims to simplify web3 by building educational tools for the Parrot community. We wish for an inclusive, decentralized, user-owned internet future.

We believe Ethereum is here to stay. And capturing the next wave of web3 users will be a promising opportunity because it will place Parrot in a unique position to have a pulse on the preferences, questions, and desires of the next wave of web3 consumers. We plan to identify future product opportunities from our early community members’ organic interest in web3 areas.
