Reflections on 2025 and the Future of StableJack
2025 has been an eventful year for StableJack. We successfully launched v2, completed our TGE, added new markets, and rolled out the pre-beta version of our AI-powered trading terminal. In this article, I want to share our thoughts on the current state of StableJack and our vision for the future. Our RootsFor those who may not know us, we launched StableJack v1 on Avalanche around June 2024. At the time, we were three first-time co-founders who had been self-funding the project for nearly six ...

Platypus Takeover Announcement
The DeFi is meant to break the chains of TradFi. This requires innovative and daring products to be launched, and tested. We have seen many groundbreaking protocols such as Ethereum, Avalanche, Maker DAO, Uniswap, and Curve that share the same mindset and goals. Platypus was among these groundbreaking protocols that had the potential to break the chains of TradFi. It reached over 1b$ in TVL at its peak. However, some setbacks have prevented Platypus from becoming mainstream. At Stable Jack, w...

Exploring Stable Jack’s Working Mechanism
We are developing a new yield-bearing stablecoin which has not been explored by many yet. As a result, explaining the mechanism behind our model is crucial. Stable Jack partitions AVAX volatility into two products to have a new yield-bearing stablecoin, called aUSD, while also creating a volatile AVAX token, called xAVAX. To make things simpler, we should consider the entire system as one big CDP in which:the total AVAX reserve represents the total CDP collateralthe total aUSD supply represen...

We are happy to announce that our testnet for whitelisted participants is LIVE!
As we are building the first yield-bearing stablecoin powered by AVAX LSTs, we want our dedicated community members to use the product and share their feedback with us before the mainnet launch.
The active testnet participants (those who completed all tasks) will be generously rewarded! Don’t miss this opportunity!
This article will provide an overview of the protocol and explain how you can use it.
It doesn’t matter how much you mint or redeem aUSD or xAVAX. We want you to experience the application. However, if you want to mint enormous amounts, you are happy to do so!
How do you start using the protocol?
First of all, you need to click the link and connect your wallet:
https://app.stablejack.xyz/

After that, you need to mint lstAVAX from the faucet.

You should write your wallet address and then claim lstAVAX, which is necessary to mint aUSD and xAVAX. You can also add lstAVAX, aUSD, and xAVAX to your wallet by just clicking the buttons.
Note: There is no limit to minting lstAVAX, go wild! Become a testnet zillionaire if you want to 😀
Don’t forget to have an AVAX testnet token to pay the gas fee.

After minting lstAVAX, you can open the main page. Here, you will see:
Minting/redemption table for aUSD and xAVAX
Necessary information regarding aUSD Collateralization Ratio, xAVAX Leverage, Total lstAVAX Cap, and more.
You will also see two tables showing the TVL of the protocol and xAVAX price, currently, we are manually updating them.
Note: The minting and redemption fees for both aUSD and xAVAX are not applied yet.
How to mint aUSD and xAVAX?
By just specifying how much lstAVAX you deposit into the protocol, you can see the amount of aUSD or xAVAX you will receive.
In this case, 10 lstAVAX is worth 662.2 USD, so you will receive 662.2 aUSD as the protocol ALWAYS accepts aUSD price equal to $1.

For xAVAX, in this case, 10 lstAVAX is worth 662.2 USD, so considering that the xAVAX price is $1.40, you can receive 473 xAVAX.
Note: xAVAX price is launched at $1, however, as we have been doing internal testing for a while, its price has increased during this period. As a leveraged token, the price will fluctuate based on the AVAX price action and current leverage.

How to redeem aUSD and xAVAX?
If you want to redeem aUSD, you will only need to specify the amount you want to redeem. The protocol will give you the same amount of aUSD back.

If you want to redeem xAVAX, you will only need to specify the amount you want to redeem. The protocol will give you the same amount of xAVAX back.

What can I do with aUSD and xAVAX?
As we are only live on the Fuji testnet, there are limited opportunities to utilize aUSD and xAVAX.For xAVAX, you can only hold it and expose the leveraged price action of AVAX.
For aUSD, you can hold it or deposit it into the Rebalance Pool and earn LST AVAX yield.
How does Rebalance Pool work?
The Rebalance Pool is a vault offered by the protocol where aUSD holders can deposit their aUSD to earn a share of the reserve LSD yields and to be redeemed for sAVAX if the need arises. Depositors in the pool earn a high yield, and if stability mode engages at any point, a portion of their aUSD will be redeemed for sAVAX. sAVAX redeemed from aUSD is owned by the Rebalance Pool depositor so that you won’t lose your capital. Depth liquidity in this pool ensures the protocol has access to sufficient aUSD to stabilize the protocol when needed.
Here's a calculation that shows the yield for aUSD staking in the rebalancing pool:

By clicking the deposit button, you can deposit your aUSD.
By clicking the withdraw button, you can receive your aUSD back.
By clicking the claim button, you can receive your lstAVAX rewards.
How to participate in the testnet?
We are only allowing Stable Bro 1st Cohort and 2nd Cohort role holders on our Discord community. We have closed the 1st Cohort but there is still time to get the 2nd Cohort Role. By just completing the roles on Guild, you can claim it. Those who actively participate in the testnet process by completing the tasks on Galxe will earn additional points during the mainnet launch.
Note: You need to be whitelisted to participate in the testnet. If you do not have the role already, it may take time to be eligible to participate after receiving the role. We’ll be whitelisting the new participants twice every day.
Why should you join the testnet?
Stable Jack is always generous to its early supporters. If you are an active testnet participant (meaning you’ve completed all the tasks during the testnet), you will be rewarded with additional points during the mainnet launch. We will be tracking your activities. You do not need to submit anything.
If you complete 100% of the quest, you will earn a 10% boost.
If you complete 75% or more of the quest, you will earn a 7% boost.
In addition to this, all participants will earn a Community Milestone Badge Collection!
Testnet Tasks
Mint aUSD
Deposit aUSD into the Rebalance Pool
Mint xAVAX
Redeem aUSD
Redeem xAVAX
Soon, we’ll share more details regarding how we will measure your participation.
What is next?
The protocol mechanism is completed, however, we still need to make some improvements to provide a better user experience and UI for our community and complete the audits. During the testnet period, while our community tries the protocol and shares their feedback, we’ll continue to improve the protocol.
You can share your feedback via the form:
https://forms.gle/SZsD2uc87njwNU5WA
If you have any questions, you can check our Gitbook or ask your question on the Discord channel!
You can support us by completing the tasks on Galxe:
