If you don’t wish to have a Particle Wallet in your ReadON account, you can just register your account with your Wallet instead: Metamask & Bitkeep are the available options.

If you have already created your account with any of the available options, you can then also connect an external wallet using Metamask or BitKeep wallet apps. *Kindly note that each wallet can only be linked to one ReadON account at any given time.

Simply head over to your Assets > Wallets and tap on your currently selected wallet icon to enter the menu where you can 'Manage wallets’. Tap on 'Add New Wallet ' and select your preferred wallet app.

Additionally, if you have an account with Particle Network, you can also do this from our website using a PC.

Login here https://readon.me/personal/assets the same way you registered your account on ReadON app. (To make sure, check to see if your Points are the same as in the app). You’ll see the option to connect an EOA wallet to the left on that page. *Note that logging in with a wallet is not available at the moment.

You can then use your wallet to perform transactions such as ‘Pick’, send a Super Bullet Chat, transfer parts of a Catto NFT to your Assets, participate in events we hold often, or simply to hold your Catto and earn extra points daily.

Note that using an external connected wallet can sometimes prove challenging due to connectivity issues in the wallet app side. When performing a transaction, you may want to keep your wallet app open running in the background, and visit it manually for a sign message or a transaction to pop-up.

To avoid this and enhance user experience, ReadON built it’s own in-app wallet, -the ReadON wallet.
