Howdieee folks! Guess what!? The Singapore team visited Crypto Expo Asia a few days back, which was held at the Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore!
We were not honestly expecting much from this conference due to the clash of event dates with the world’s largest NFT festival — NFT.NYC. happening in New York, which most of the notable projects were attending.
However to our surprise, we were wrong. The people we have met and interacted with made this whole experience a fruitful one. There were several great projects, and among them, some were less-known, underrated gems with great ideas and potential to solve real issues in the Web3 space.
To sum it all, if the biggest takeaway for us at this event was:
“At the heart of Web3, collaboration between projects is key.”
The rapid growth in the Web3 industry is largely attributed to innovation and collaboration between various projects in the space, where communities band together, resources are shared between projects, and teams help one another to succeed and grow in the space. This spirit and unity has helped projects **create long-term value **for those within and beyond their communities.
However, we still see many projects competing with one another in the space, where the focus is not on growing their projects, but in bringing down other projects to make their own project look better in the eyes of the community. Instead of adopting a more humble approach towards learning and sharing, some projects find thrill in mocking other projects for their failures, which we certainly do not agree with.
That aside, we would like to give a shout out to the amazing leaders of some projects that we have met at the expo, who share the same vision of collaborating in the Web3 space!

Starting with Benji at Kainet (Land of Kai), who is building an open world metaverse that is fully explorable, inspired by One Piece’s Wa No Kuni. He is a firm believer of cross-collaborations and mutual support between projects in the crypto space .We had a great conversation with him, sharing and exchanging insights. He was extremely open to having collaborations with us, exploring how we can work and grow together. We’re truly excited on how we can develop this partnership, so do stay tuned for updates.

Over at Luffy Token, we had some interesting conversations with Dan who is overseeing operations surrounding this community-based anime token with multiple utilities! We just love how passionate and driven he is, working on several projects concurrently, and even supporting good causes outside of the crypto space. Again, we are looking forward to some amazing collaborations that we can have together with the Luffy team!
Moving on to the Catcoin booth, we met Acostioai, who is leading the design team. Catcoin is a community driven coin. He was really enthusiastic about the cat designs that he had come up with for the project and was open to collaborating with us, even offering to help projects like us with design work. He strongly believes that what goes around, comes around- if you help others in need, they’ll also help you when you’re in need. What a spirited individual!

Next, we got to connect with Rahul, the CMO from Connect2Crypto, a communications platform based in Canada that helps to connect Web3 users to Web3 projects efficiently and securely. The project aims to solve some real issues surrounding crypto through authenticity verification to prevent and reduce scams from surfacing on the platform. We discussed on a partnership to have our project featured on their app when it’s launched.
We’re also thankful to be able to connect with the CMO of Gym Network, David. Gym Network. It is interesting to see how a project like Gym Network can help educate its users and communities, while also offering affiliate rewards to community members for referring their friends.
Apart from these projects, we also got to connect with members from Bitmart and Terarium to find out more about their token listing rates and the services that they provide as a Centralized Exchange (CEX).
The members over at Advance Intelligence Group also did an interesting sharing over their AI technology, which enables their clients to utilize fingerprint technology for identity verification. This helps projects conduct Know-Your-Client (KYC) to verify their users and clients to ensure that they do not engage in money laundering activities (AML). We can definitely see how this technology can help reshape the future.
And with that, we hope you enjoyed our write-up on this event.
Do look forward to more exciting partnerships announcements in the upcoming weeks as we explore ways to collaborate and grow in the Web3 space! Adios!
