The web3 world is daunting. It’s easy to make mistakes, lose money, or stay stagnant if you don’t know what you’re doing, or aren’t in the right circles. But the promises of blockchain already solve many major problems with the internet, just not quite at scale yet.
One of the biggest fixes in my opinion is universal sign in. With web3 products, you only need one account. You don’t have to make a new account for every new product or service ever again. Instead of giving every company a new login, you can simply sign into any web3 platform with your wallet. This system has its issues, but the ability to have platforms come to you for your account (instead of you going to them to make an account) has many benefits from ease of use to privacy.
This short post is being written to complete a task on app.rabbithole.gg. I recommend using this platform to get started in web3 if you dont understand it. You will have to spend some ETH, but not very much with current gas prices. There has never been a better time to learn about web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency.
I’ve written some columns on Medium, and I intend on moving them here to Mirror. You can follow me on Twitter @whostarscope, or check out my design work at starscope.design.
Goodbye World, for now.
