As we approach the 1 year anniversary since we first took the red pill and jumped head first into the blockchain space, cannot say enough how much of a whirlwind this short journey has already been. It has seen its highs and right now things are very low but somehow its looking up. Perhaps that a symptom of a disease or rather a condition found throughout all of crypto and that is the ever present thing call hopeium. The industry runs on it and maybe at times it overwhelms the space, but nothing great has ever been built without it.

That being said this journey began with the creation of the SCRED crypto, which at the time seemed almost surreal. You mean we can actually make our own crypto? So we did. Took the better part of a day and alot of frustration but we finally got it all to work right and behold, a new token baby was born. But then it was, ok what the hell do we do with it?

This past year has been the answer to that question as we took a deep dive into learning all we can about the technology and building our own project. We have since created a new token that incorporates a DAO, initiated development of our tokenomics and roadmap, and secured traditional DNS domains as well as NFT and blockchain domains, and the nascent metaverse.

Though there is plenty of work to do and it’s just the beginning, there is so much potential in this project and we are excited to continue to push the Street Credit brand in different ways.
