More than just a name service
We are building an on-chain identity protocol on Sui. Our goal is a combination of web3 identity with web2 DNS. We believe in a future where anyone can easily and securely send payments to other users on Sui, and a ".sui" identifier is synonymous with a crypto address on every dapp. Meanwhile, Google still exists.. and anyone can also resolve that very same domain with every major search engine - all through our seamless, sleek UI. Web2 isn't going anywhere so we're going to integrate directly with it in as many ways as possible... but with direct community oversite. All that and so much is what we're building together
Who's running the show?
Our team is completely doxed. And we proudly hold 0 investors (unlike any other identity service on Sui). The $SNS was founded by Anthony (@mistertoucan). Before this, he studied CS at Georgetown University and grew two e-Commerce based SAAS businesses to 15k+ merchants. He also loves web3 and is intent on changing the game... Our goal is to move to complete community ownership by the end of Q3 2023 through our $SNS token DAO release. Until then, everyone can participate through the discord... everyone is truly welcome. This is the way.
When will we release?
We are actively developing our Devnet beta release for beta testing very soon. Please fill out the form on our website and stay active in the discord to stay up to date. As for our Sui Mainnet release, we will be having a 2-part Community-First release. During part 1, everyone who received a whitelisted (Stork) role will have exclusive access to register their Sui domain name before everyone else. In part 2, the website will open to the community and everyone will be able to register whatever domains they so choose. All domains will be resellable as NFTs on all major Sui NFT marketplaces.
