We’re thrilled to announce that Suno is integrating Superfluid, introducing real-time streaming yields to our clean-energy–backed token, uWatt.
This integration will officially go live on November 17, marking the first time a tokenized real-world asset protocol enables on-chain, real-time yield streams powered by Superfluid.
Once live, every watt of energy produced by Suno’s solar project Reserve will flow directly to uWatt stakers — second by second — through Superfluid’s programmable money streams on Polygon PoS.
This will mark a major milestone in making renewable energy investment continuous on-chain.
Until now, uWatt holders have earned monthly yield distributions in USDC, reflecting their share of energy revenues from Suno’s Reserve — a pool of operational, revenue-generating solar projects across Latin America.
With the Superfluid integration, this model will evolve from static, periodic payments to dynamic, real-time yield streams.
Once the update is live, uWatt stakers will see yield begin to flow instantly — visible on-chain, transparent, and withdrawable at any time — giving users the flexibility to reinvest whenever they choose, without waiting for month-end. Every second of energy generation will translate directly into a live stream of income for stakers.
By aligning yield with the constant flow of energy, we open the door to new financial behaviors: short-term positions, auto-compounding strategies, even pay-per-second energy credits. Real-time yield makes uWatt not just an investment, but an instrument that can interact dynamically with DeFi.

In parallel with the Superfluid integration, Suno is launching a structural upgrade: moving from a hold-to-earn to a stake-to-earn model for uWatt rewards.
This is an important change for uWatt holders to take notice of. Previously, any wallet holding uWatts automatically accrued monthly yields. While simple, that approach had its drawbacks:
Incompatibility with DeFi protocols: smart contracts or liquidity pools holding uWatts would unintentionally receive yields, creating integration and accounting complexity.
Partial off-chain accounting: reward tracking relied partly on external systems, reducing transparency and automation.
Limited flexibility: because yield logic was globally applied to all token holders, it was difficult to integrate uWatt into other DeFi protocols or modular incentive systems.
Under the new staking architecture, which will go live alongside the Superfluid integration, uWatts deposited into the staking contract will earn yield streams; while unstaked tokens will remain freely tradable, lendable, and composable.
This separation of ownership and yield generation makes uWatt a true DeFi-ready asset, safe to integrate into vaults, liquidity pools, and lending markets.
The real impact of RWA tokenization will come from composability. When yield, liquidity, and ownership can move freely between protocols, real-world assets become programmable, capable of evolving and combining in ways traditional finance can’t replicate.
— Nicolás Villegas (@nvillegase), CEO & Co-founder, Suno
This dual upgrade — staking architecture + real-time streaming — will transform uWatt into one of the most transparent, composable, and engaging RWA assets on-chain:
Instant, flexible earnings: Once live, the moment users acquire and stake uWatts, yield will begin automatically no more waiting for monthly distributions to reinvest. Rewards will accrue continuously; compounding will occur when users choose to reinvest.
Full on-chain composability: Staking isolates yield generation from ownership, enabling safe integration with DeFi strategies. Superfluid makes yield continuous.
Deeper, more efficient liquidity: Real-time streaming creates constant on-chain cashflow that can circulate faster — improving the velocity of capital and enabling uWatt holders to remain active in reinvesting their yields into more uWatts between periodic payouts.
Enhanced trust through visibility: Whilst Suno still collects and on-ramps project revenues from the real world, once inside the protocol, every yield stream will be visible, verifiable, and continuous.
Climate impact, live: Each future yield stream will reflect active energy production — financing solar mini-farms that power communities within Latin America, with future expansion plans across the Global South.
This integration is a foundational step for Suno’s scalability. Real-time streaming yield doesn’t just improve payout efficiency — it enables yields to be reinvested into more uWatts more frequently, transforming both secondary-market liquidity and the compounding potential for token investors.
— Rob Holmes (@HolmesrjRob), Growth & BD Lead, Suno
Across the RWA landscape, yield-bearing assets like Ondo’s OUSG, Maple, Centrifuge, and RealT pay returns via periodic distributions or daily rebases — not real-time streaming.
To our knowledge, Suno is the first tokenized RWA protocol to deliver real-time, on-chain streaming yield, powered by Superfluid and underpinned by real-world energy revenue.
The integration will go live for all uWatt holders staking on Polygon PoS, Suno’s native chain.
From November 17th onward, users will be able to stake their tokens through the Suno dApp and watch their yields stream in real time.
At Superfluid, we've always believed money should flow as easily as data. Partnering with Suno to stream yields from real-world solar energy in real time is a major step forward for both tokenized assets and DeFi. When yields flow continuously like the energy that generates them, we unlock entirely new ways for people to earn from and use tokenized assets.

About Suno
Suno is a decentralized infrastructure financing platform that connects global capital with real-world solar assets. Suno enables anyone to invest in distributed solar mini-farms through tokenized assets that generate measurable, on-chain yields. By bridging energy generation data with blockchain transparency, Suno transforms solar projects into liquid, composable instruments — aligning DeFi incentives with real-world impact. Its ecosystem includes: pWatt tokens — project-level assets tied to specific solar farms; and uWatt tokens — a reserve-level, yield-bearing asset backed by a diversified portfolio of solar projects. Suno’s mission is to make clean energy not only accessible but collectively owned, driving financial inclusion and climate action across emerging markets.
About Superfluid
Superfluid is an asset streaming protocol that enables real-time, by-the-second value transfer on blockchain networks. Instead of sending payments in batches, Superfluid creates constant streams of value that can be used for salaries, subscriptions, token vesting, yield payments, and other DeFi applications. Deployed across multiple EVM chains including Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Base, Superfluid is changing how digital payments work by making them flow automatically and continuously.
