Importance Of Being Early in web 3

Being an early and active participant in the Web3 positions you at the cutting edge of innovation, allows you to capitalize on first-mover advantages, as by using the applications and blockchains early you will have tested them first hand and are now in a position to identify the winners before everyone else

Cryptocurrencies, Blockchains, and Web3: Key Distinctions
You all know that cryptocurrencies are digital or virtual currencies but have you ever wondered how these cryptocurrencies work under the hood? They operate on a technology called 'blockchain.' Think of blockchain as the backbone of cryptocurrency. It is a secure and transparent way to record transactions. No single person or entity owns the system, yet everyone can use it and help to run it. This is what we call decentralization. To put things in context Crypto’s like Bitcoin and Ethereum cannot survive with Blockchain technology but Blockchain can survive and thrive without cryptocurrencies. A common mistake that most people make is that they confuse crypto’s and blockchain to be one thing. But in reality they are two separate things, independent of each other. In summary:Cryptocurrency is a type of digital money that uses blockchain to operate.

And Blockchain is the system that records information in a secure way

Now that we have understood what CryptoCurrencies and Blockchain are, lets understand one more important concept i.e Web3

Web3 and its relevance in today’s digital age
Now Before moving to web3 lets understand what web 2 is.  If you've ever used a social media platform like Facebook or Twitter? You have been a part of a centralized network. Where one company holds all the data and makes all the rules. That is web2! Web3 on the other hand is a new concept for the internet that uses blockchain as its foundation. The idea behind Web3 is to create a version of the internet that is decentralized, meaning it's not controlled by any single company or government. In Web3, the users have control over their data and can interact directly with one another without needing middlemen like the board of directors behind facebook or twitter Now what does decentralized mean in this context? It simply means that individuals like you and me own and govern sections of the internet. Lets understand this with an example Web2 is like a traditional mall where you have big stores that pretty much control everything. These stores decide what products you see, what products are priced at, and they even keep an eye on you, to see what you like. They collect your data so they can sell you more stuff in the future or even sell your data to other companies .Yes, It is convenient because everything is in one place, but in exchange, they collect your data and make money from it.

Web3 on the other hand is like a bazaar with lots of small stalls, each owned by different people. You can go to any stall you like, and if you don't like the service at one, you can easily move to another. There's no big boss and everyone has a say, and if some stalls decide they want to change something, they can just vote on it. Just like a democracy
