I’d like to air out some ideas that I’ve been thinking about for a little bit. This is going to be a more of a therapy session than anything else. I’ve been feeling a stagnancy in how I’m progressing post-college, when it feels like all the knowledge I need to have, in order to build and contribute the way I want to is always out of reach. The ways you deal with these types of emotions largely dictate what type of life you live. Will you be the person that talked about all the stuff you could’ve done at a critical character-defining moment, or will you be the person who let’s others tell your story. I find when you put a face to your boogiemans and define them clearly, they lose their power over you. I think writing is one of the most powerful tools you have fore self-reflection, even if you don’t publish, being able to see you’re thoughts a week ago, you can notice the universals in your thinking and worries and make a step in the right direction.
