Please introduce yourself and provide a brief bio about your project/platform. Henry Fan, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of SWEATEMPLE.

SWEATEMPLE is the first ever Fitness metaverse incorporating real life workout equipment. sweat-and-earn & create-and-earn.
Our game machine, the Lit Bike by freebeat, is fully upgraded to be Web 3.0 compatible. NFT idea connecting digital and real world, sweat and earn mode — It was created to recognize the actions and efforts we make behind closed doors. We want to reward people for pursuing active lifestyles and pushing themselves.
Meanwhile, in addition to sweat-and-earn gameplay, SWEATEMPLE also has create-and-earn mechanics which encourages us to create motivational content and influence the community for even more rewards. Our AI/machine learning models understand the rhythm of your music, create motivational choreography and sychronizes with user-selected virtual 3D stages and avatars to present a show. It doesn’t matter if you’re a fitness pro or a newbie, everyone is capable of creating great content in SWEATEMPLE. Thats it, we are in closed beta now and will launch open beta soon.
Let’s begin with a strong foundation. What does the metaverse mean to you?
The essential features of the metaverse are 4 major fusions: the fusion of the digital world and the physical world, the fusion of the digital economy/assets and the real economy/assets, the fusion of digital life and social life, and the fusion of digital identity and real identity.
The metaverse is not just a virtual space- it is the way of connecting people and making the world smaller in the future. As some one have said, this is a billion-dollar opportunity. (Beyond what meta is pushing right now, metaverse is currently being used to enhance the experience of events, pushing the limits of physical space and rewarding fans through virtual games. Users can exercise and produce content in a virtual world of digital sports venues, connect with friends and loved ones and other sports enthusiasts around the world, and can use the blockchain space and its enhanced technology to engage and expand their influential fan base.) It is all about experience, all about experiencing the new and impossibilities. At lease that is what people is focusing now.
However, the key to its development is the connection to the real world. At the end of the day, there needs to be more real and physical feedback from the metaverse to the real world to make it to the next level. We need connections and bridges between the two worlds. Fitness/sports is a natural and perfect entrance that allows us to enter the metaverse with instant and immersive feedback meanwhile good for health. So smart connected devices plus the experience are the most crucial factors. Lastly, even in the metaverse where nothing is impossible, we should have something to track and promote physical health. We hope SWEATEMPLE NFTs can be icons to demonstrate your identity and showoff your efforts.
2. Do you believe in building an open metaverse? How does your platform support or reject this vision?
To me at least, everyone is trying to fight in this way, right? I mean that’s the good part. I see this and that’s the beauty of this decentralized blockchain technology. We definitely believe in building an open metaverse and we hope to collaborate with other metaverse in the future.
We also aim to deepen the immersive side of SWEATEMPLE by adding aspects of other worlds. Incorporating fields such as fashion will allow for deeper player customization. Our vision is to help build an open and boundaryless metaverse ecosystem where you can put on your 3D avatar during exercise and can decorate your virtual house with SWEATEMPLE NFT, it’s a social identity. SWEATEMPLE is, and always will be, content and sweat-driven. Our expansion into more sports and games is on the horizon.
And we are also thinking about a collaboration with another metaverse like decentraland and sandbox. We wish to combine the features of our program with their platform and consider hosting fitness games or fitness events on it, etc. Beyond that, our AI can support the fitness and entertainment side of metaverse by creating gym classes with virtual instructors, set up cool virtual stages for live concerts and many more. So an open metaverse is something we hope to see and will fight for!
3. What are some collaborators that you’re working with some of the right ingredients that are bringing your platform to the people?
Sure. Thanks.
I’ll give you like a few examples right now, where in some final talks with, the world’s top tier football, soccer and basketball clubs because our project is very sports, fitness and athlete driven. So that’s why we definitely want to collaborate with them, collaborate with even just get their fans space. So that’s something we’re working on. I wouldn’t give you the name right now but we’re definitely in the final talks.
So I mean this is another thing on another dimension which is like, we have this vision to try to help onboard more web 2 people into Web 3. I think that’s really important. We’re trying to put a lot of effort on collaborating with another web 2 payment company to help the whole process. In that way, we have preparatory sort of like a payment system where you can just literally buy NFT using your credit card and the whole process is pretty smooth.
Apart from that, we are definitely more than happy to collaborate with some content creators, even the live DJs, right to bring their own energy into the space and motivate more other people. Beyond the big names who design and produce smart hardwire for metaverse we hope to see more small players like us who push connectivity between the real world and metaverse through specific channels.
4. Final Thoughts — please share how we can follow the journey & dive in.
Yeah, sure. I guess I hope all the metaverse project could be more open and connected as we just discussed, and be more collaborative and make all the NFT and digital assets more cross-platform friendly. So I think that’s really, really important. Secondly, this is very specifically for the gamefi projects. I think the game needs to be fun first, tokenomics comes next. I really hope to see it more meaningful.
Interesting fun projects are coming up which focus on the fun part, so we really hope to see more smaller players. I think it’s important for us to all grow and later we become a network which this decentralized version and model probably can take out some of, like the big corporations. I mean that’s all the decentralization believers.
We’re going to migrate to the main net pretty soon, and we’re now holding the NFT Part Box Airdrop Event! You can easily get the airdrop rewards by finishing different tasks, which is a very effective method to getting a free bike aura than purchasing one.
Lastly, I wanna emphasize this — SWEATEMPLE is not really a play to earn project. It is fun first, and then it helps push yourself to be better not only in the metaverse but also in the real world. It is not a game where you invest capital and then calculate the breakeven and ROI, rather it is a place you invest in yourself. In this metaverse, time is not wasted earning money by playing something you don’t really like, time is invested — in your own health and potential.
