# Cardano: A failure or the most valuable future cryptocurrency?

I think that most of us who know about cryptocurrencies outside of ethereum and the popular bitcoin will have heard of a cryptocurrency that seemed hopeful but is currently in the shadows of its entire path, and it seems that it could or could not rise from this, in this article I will talk a little about what could be said, it would be my point of view regarding the future of this cryptocurrency, cardano.

**Early years and creation:**

To understand its current fall a little more you have to know its history, Cardano was created by Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of BitShares and Ethereum, it was when during 2015 where there are records of its development, Charles had some discussions with the other members of Ethereum to keep it non-profit, it was launched in 2017, now we could start with the history of its price since 2017.

**2017:**

According to CoinMarketCap records, on October 1, 2017, cardano was worth 0.024 cents, on the 10th it would drop to 0.021, on August 10 the price would continue to drop to 0.020 and it was on the 15th that the price would increase to 0.029 cents, ending the year 2017 with a price of 0.64 cents which was its maximum price in that year.

**2018:**

We started this year with an increase in this currency, it was on January 2 where the price would start with 0.77 cents, its biggest spike was on January 6 when this currency began to be worth 1.02 cents, it was from there when the price decreased again, At the end of 2018 the currency was worth 0.043 cents, worse than the end of the previous year.

**2019:**

This year you could say, it was like playing with a knife for those people who would think about investing in this crypto, the first records were on January 2 at 0.045, its highest reach of this currency this year was on June 23 when it arrived 0.096 cents, its biggest drop was at the end of the year, on December 29 this currency ended its year worse with 0.034.

**2020-2021-2022:**

In these present years we are experiencing the state of emergency and the declaration of an epidemic, these 3 years began with a great decline, it would not be until February 9, 2021 when this currency was worth 2.95 dollars, its greatest decline in these 3 years was 0.033 cents on January 1, 2020, ending these 3 years with 2023, this cryptocurrency unfortunately ended at 60 cents.

**Present:**

After everything seen, investing in this currency was no longer very reliable, because every year it had an increase but it was momentary, it was in 2024 where its first highest reach was 0.60 cents, and its biggest drop was 0.46 cents, At the time of writing this part, on February 7, the current price is 0.50 cents.

**Prediction of future failure or future success?:**

Seeing the transition for all these years mentioned, where the currency would suffer different price changes, I could say that Cardano does not provide me with the security of investing in it, due to its instability in the price, one day it is on its "rise" if it is I could say a great decline where its highest value was literally 2.95 dollars in its entire history since 2017, if I could recommend something to someone it would be, never, BUT NEVER, invest in Cardano. Cardano is an unstable currency that, of course, can be recovered but stabilization is something that seems to have disappeared in this cryptocurrency, because in 7 YEARS no progress could be made in stabilization or an increase, there are several predictions that this cryptocurrency would not have no increase until 2026 where it is supposed to be worth 1.39 dollars in its minimum price.

This is simply my opinion and point of view towards this currency that seems not going to recover and will remain in that economic decline in which it has been trapped since 2017.

I appreciate your interest in reading this article where it talks about this currency, Cardano.
