As part of our commitment to transparency, we're sharing details of our token lock-up and vesting plan for team members and investors. This plan is designed to foster long-term commitment and a sustainable ecosystem for all stakeholders.

Investors: 11.62% of total token supply
Taiko Labs Core Team (first exercise)¹: 9.81695% of total token supply
Vesting Period: 4 years
Initial Lock-up: 12 months from Token Generation Event (TGE)
TGE Date: June 5, 2024
After the initial lock-up period:
25% of vested tokens become available for unlock
Remaining 75% unlock linearly over subsequent 3 years
This structure aims to:
Encourage long-term commitment
Mitigate potential market volatility
Align stakeholder interests with project's long-term success

Green: Already released
Yellow: Projected to be released over 2-4 years
Orange: Strict release schedule - tokens start becoming available one year after launch, then are gradually released over the next three years until all tokens are fully liquid 4 years after TGE.
Pink: Reserved for protocol development, DAO governance, and prover network. Full distribution projected over 5+ years.

¹Team Token Exercise Schedule:
Team members exercise their granted tokens every six months.
New token unlocking contracts will be added to the file GitHub repository as they become active.
² Investor Contract Status:
Some investor contracts are still in the process of being set up.
These contracts will be added to the GitHub repository once finalized.
