Getting started with marketing a web3 IP

Since the web3 ecosystem is still young and not everyone is familiar with it, marketing a web3 IP has its own challenges.

However, from our experience of marketing Tanukiverse as a web3 IP, there are a few general tactics that worked well -

  • Consider the advantages: Understanding the value your project brings to the ecosystem & how it shall benefit the community is the most important aspect to highlight.

Tanukiverse - being a creator space, has always kept the doors open for the community to create with the team and has proven a great engaging factor for the community.

  • Educate & Evolve: Since some chunk of your audience might not be familiar with web3 tidbits, it's crucial to share as much information as possible with them. Tanukiverse hosted a good amount of spaces/content that discussed web3 fundamentals and how our product works.

  • Collabs: Collaborating with other web3 projects can assist to make your product more visible. Think about working together on collaborative marketing initiatives or attending conferences and events. But having a plan with the quality & intentions of the collab is an important thing to consider.

To conclude, while nurturing Tanukiverse as a web3 IP, we focussed on creating and sharing valuable & consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience. Thus showcasing the value of our web3 IP and positioning it as a thought leader in the space.
