And now, let us see how to run and set the tasks on TaskOn in just a few steps.

Step 1: Connect Wallet

Go to https://taskon.xyz and connect your project wallet address via Metamask, ONTO Wallet or WalletConnect.

Note: Please use the official address for your project. This address will have access to the dashboard and various campaigns.

Step 2: Create Campaign

Click “Create Campaign” and fill in the campaign details.

To help you understand the settings better, here are some explanations for reference:

Create Period

The time counted is based on Singapore time by default (UTC+8). Make sure you convert it into your local time when setting it up.

Reward Type

Whitelist is suitable for most kinds of campaigns. No matter if it is tokens or NFTs.

Reward Method

Instant: All participants will be on the winner list immediately after the completion.

Lottery: Winners will be selected randomly.

Upload Image for the Campaign:

Image should be 1:1

Add Task

-Minimum Token Balance: It can verify the balance of an address. If the token is not on the default asset list, you can click on “Add Token” on the top right of the section.

-Proof of work: If you choose the Proof of Work task, then after the campaign is over, you need to download the list and select the qualified list to upload. After the upload is complete, the system will automatically select and announce the winners.

Step 3: Verify Twitter Handle & Get Whitelisted

So far, congratulations. You almost finished. Please contact the TaskOn admin for verification. Your account will be added into the whitelist, which means you can publish campaigns yourself.

Step 4: Publish and Review Campaign

Click “Create Campaign”, then click “Dashboard”, and find the campaign. Double check before clicking “Publish”.

Please contact TaskOn admin for review. Remember, every modification should be approved by the TaskOn team.

Step 5: Start Campaign and Download data

The campaign will start at scheduled time. You can download the data by clicking “Create Campaign” — “Dashboard” to export the record.

Step 6: Winner announcement

If a Proof of Work task is added, you will need to manually add the eligible participants list. The system will then automatically select winners.
