Just about a month ago, Glen, Puja, and Vitalik released a Whitepaper regarding “Decentralized Society: Finding Web3's Soul“. It is coincident with what TEA is all about. It will be easier for me to explain more about it.
TEA token is a reward token from the TeaParty platform to reward guests for engaging in any designated social activity. This token would be the world's first ERC20 token designed to be isolated in a semi-closed-system environment.
The primary trait of the TEA token is SoulBound, meaning that it cannot be transferred to anybody and is tied to your wallet forever kind of like a soul that binds to your body and is truly yours only.
So how does it make sense at all? (you may ask)
Just like a soul of a person can only be transferred to the soul realm once they no longer exist, to the places that we know, either “Heaven” or “Hell”. (or probably another place we are not known to)
The idea here for SoulBound TEA to work, you can travel within the design of the realm in TeaParty which will be announced in the future.
There are 3 main reasons we choose TEA to become a social SoulBound Token.
Meaning — SoulBound represents the commitment, credibility, and credential of a person on his/her involvement in the TeaParty platform.
Trust — Affiliations of “Souls” representing credibility can encode the trust networks of the real economy to establish provenance and reputation.
Security — “A soul cannot be killed by a mere man”. Similar to your TEA token, people can’t steal it from you. This is the top trait needed for this token. Holders of this token do not worry about any hacking exploitation such as infinity mint and dumping the token price.
Control — As a SoulBound token provide the control of TEA to TeaParty and this ensures the circulation of TEA is within a safe place.
A utility token
Maximum supply — Unlimited
Soulbound to users’ wallet
Can be used in multichain: Polygon and BSC (more to come)
