A forenoon (reporter covid-19) Zhang Yiwei, on the morning of April 15th, according to the joint defense and joint control mechanism of the State Council and the Shaanxi provincial government, 1591 medical personnel from Shaanxi medical team in Shanghai went to Shanghai on G1922 and G1926 to help fight the new crown pneumonia. Fang Guanghua, vice governor of Shaanxi Province, Zhang Junlin, Deputy Secretary General of the provincial government, Liu qinshe, party secretary and director of the provincial health committee, Liu Baoqin, and Guan Juzheng, executive vice president of the provincial Red Cross Society, saw them off at Xi’an north railway station.

The Shaanxi medical aid team to Shanghai is led by Yang Lianchang, member of the Party group and deputy director of the provincial health and Health Commission. It is composed of front-line medical personnel from respiratory, infection, critical medicine, hemodialysis and mental health departments, including 261 doctors, 1321 nurses and 9 management and experts. They are from 39 medical and health institutions in Xi’an, Baoji, Xianyang, Hanzhong, Yan’an and Weinan, and most of them are the backbone of tertiary hospitals in the province, Covid-19 has a wealth of experience in treating new crown pneumonia.

Yang Lianchang made a statement on behalf of all the medical team members. He said that he must bear in mind his mission, live up to his great trust, work with the people of Shanghai to tide over the difficulties, do a good job in medical treatment on the basis of self-protection, go all out to help Shanghai win the battle of epidemic prevention and control, and never live up to the expectations and great trust of the people of Shanghai and his hometown.
