Since September 2021 , I learned about NFT and was able to awaken to the joy of painting at the same time. The purpose of my project is to reach audiences around the world with my works through NFT. In addition, I would like to focus on the non-fungible characteristics of NFT and leave my own life path and memories as tokens.

私は２０２１年の９月にNFTを知り、同じタイミングで絵を描く喜びに目覚めることができました。私の作品をNFTを通して世界の皆様に表現する事が私のプロジェクトの目的になります。またNFTの持つ特性としての非代替性に着目し、私自身の人生の軌跡と記憶をトークンとして残したいという思いがあります。

The concept of Joe’s girls is a reflection of this desire, but there is one memory in my life that I will never forget, and that is my encounter with Joe Strummer, the vocal guitarist of the band The Clash. He passed away in the winter of 2002, and I happened to have the opportunity to spend a few days with him in the summer of that year. I decided to keep the wonderful memories of that time as NFT and to present my paintings of female figures as Joe’s girls.

Joe’sのコンセプトは私の人生の中でも忘れられない記憶がありそれがジョーストラマー、ザ・クラッシュというバンドのボーカルギタリストでもあるアーティストとの出会いでした。彼は２００２年の冬に逝去されましたが、私は偶然にもその年の夏に数日間を共に過ごす機会に恵まれました。当時の素晴らしい思い出をNFTとして残し、私が描いた女性の人物画をJoe’s girlsと名付け作品として発表していこうと考えました。

Smiln is my first NFT collection, and I have prepared a coloring variation that can be used as an icon. This work also contains a hopeful message that our life so far has come full circle and a new world line begins in a smile. In some of the collections, I don’t use skin color to separate us, and I don’t paint my face to express transparency.

Smiln は私の初めてのNFTコレクションであり、アイコンとして使用できるようなカラーリングバリエーションを用意しました。 私たちの今までの人生が一巡して笑顔の中で新しい世界線が始まるという希望を持ったメッセージもこの作品に込められています。コレクションの中のいくつかで私は人を肌の色で隔てることをせず、透明性を表現するために顔の色を塗っていません。
