As a kid, everyone would tell me, “You’re so funny, Rachel!" and start laughing. It was infuriating.

“I’m NOT funny! I’m serious!” I would whip back.

It wasn’t until many many many years later that I realized what made everything think I was funny and decided to welcome the laughter.

My sense of humor is rather dry and dark. One of my many nicknames and my second favorite is “Dark and Edgy”.

But my favorite nickname was given to me recently. At a poker tournament, and old eighty-year old man asked me, “Is your name Ruth? Because you’re ruthless.”

So with that being said… Buckle up and join me for a lifetime filled with crazy stories that you’ll swear it can’t be true.
