first of all:
we are longtime friends, colleagues, business partners. one crypto geek (me), one designer and one developer. what a combo. for several years we have been following the development of nft projects in many phases and call the best of them among ourselves. one day in the office we ask ourselfs why don't we make a project exactly according to which project we personally would invest money in. we knew that from studying the behavior of projects for our personal purposes, we could use it as an advantage when building our own. we have all the resources, time, money, so why not? but mainly we wanted to have fun and a real community that would also bring some value to us. so our project one to one copies the way we imagine: decentralization, devs' behavior towards the community and organic community building.
from the beginning, we very clearly pushed our ideology about the management of the project. we know what practices apply to building a true, organic community from a marketing perspective. this extract from our initial entry probably describes it best. I quote:
“no influencer marketing, no pressure hype, no teasing, just vibes.. there is a great mentality behind this concept, which is that a) not creating artificial momentum, which most projects rely on, but the opposite is a great concept to keep people consistent and its good for the organic growth.. b) the mysteriousness created by asking many questions because people are not prepared is a great storyteller in itself. c) letting the community decide the path is a real decentralization for us.”
this concept worked for us, unfortunately, but only until public mint came and the project received the attention we planned to have only in the later stages of the project. the project was designed to only organically attract people's attention each month and slowly grow in value. but the massive influx of new people caused even people who had zero interest in the utility of the project to sweep the floor. therefore, the floor price instantly increased to almost 0.04 and at that very moment, the real community served as exit liquidity. so people started getting upset after the price dropped and started blaming us for the way we decided to run the project from the beginning. for the fact that we don't say empty words, we don't rub honey around their mouths like most projects from which they are used to promising them everything and then nothing. therefore, people who are not interested in the real utility of the project and the community, but twenty dollars in the wallet, are now flipping on the floor. to obey the community, we decided to spend 10 of the total 28 tokens currently held by our community wallet on a sweep competition.
every time someone sweeps 3 or more from the floor, they will be airdropped one free token. the contest lasts 24 hours. for the duration of this contest, royalties will be updated to 2%. royalties will change back in 24 hours, or after all ten tokens are airdropped.
