Chapter 1 The Magician

The first ray of sunlight in the morning shone through the dense forest onto the land. The sunlight formed the Tindall effect in the gaps of the leaves, which was divided into light paths one by one.

A bird was flying through the woods, cutting the light paths, made his face light and dark.

He was sleeping on a stone in the forest. Thanked to the naughty bird, he opened one of his eyes, staring at the sky covered with leaves for a while. Then he sat up, streching his arms and legs, and slowly stood up.

The sunlight shone on him. To be precise, some of the sunlight passed through his body and hit the ground behind him.

If you ask why, because some of his head, chest, arms, and thighs were already skeletons.

After doing some streching, he walked unhurried to a creek. He squatted down and poured a handful of water onto his face with his hand. Then he leaned down by the creek and begins to drink the flowing water.

Suddenly, he stopped drinking and began to look at his reflection in the water, lost in thought.

With a sudden opening of his eyes, he lay on the ground, bleeding from his head, with his left ear cut off. He supported the ground with both hands and tried his best to s, but the intense pain made his legs tremble and soften. Eyes began to swell, with vision blur, ears buzzing. A gust of wind blew, and his nasal cavity was full of thick bloody smell and disgusting soil smell. He squinted his eyes and groped around with his hands, trying to grab something that could support him to stand up.

He caught something, which has a bit of elasticity when grasped, but not too soft. He wanted to drag it to pull himself forward, but didn't expect it to be moving. He pulled it back in front of him. He pulled it back in front of him, opened his eyes and saw that it was actually an arm! He quickly shook his arm away, but his hands were already covered in sticky blood. He couldn't care so much anymore, and with the only little explosive force, he turned over and began to slowly crawl forward.
