Gosh I felt crook Sunday night and again all day today.
Almost all of the ship’s complement were affected by the motion as we left Macquarie
I noticed that we were pitching very quickly with no let up in contrast to the rest of our voyage of large and gentle swells. Even yet I’m not too pleased with the motion of the ship.
The skipper had to reduce speed tom half today rather than smash either the ship or half its occupants.
I spent all of the day on my back as that’s the only comfortable place. I managed to eat a little at each meal and Sunday’s dinner was the only meal I lost.
Too crook to read, write or talk Thank God I’m a little better sailer than some unfortunates.
