China's telecommunications industry inter-step forward

The sixth Digital China Building Summit, which was held in Fortunate County, was preceded by a series of “1+3+N” events, in which “N” delegates a series of business-sponsored events, including the cloud ecology conference, the industrial Internet ecology conference, the artificial intelligent ecology conference, etc., attracted industry view. In recent years, our industrial Internet has developed rapidly, and the industrial Internet has become a key support for industrial digitization and high-quality economic and social development. China’s telecommunications, with its full potential for cloud network integration, has continued deep-rooted industrial Internet, while promoting the digitization of society as a whole, focused on increasing the innovative applications of digital technology in the industrial sphere and providing professional support and guarantees for industrial digitization transition.

Industrial Internet access to critical stages of development

The Government’s report of 2023 indicated that support for industrial Internet development had contributed significantly to the digitization of manufacturing. The new industrialization process in our country has accelerated with the integration of industrial Internet with technologies such as 5G, manual intelligent, large data, cloud computing, and physical networking, and has given new impetus to high-quality economic and social development.

At a recent quarterly press conference on industrial and information-related developments at the New Office, the Officer-in-Charge of the Department of Safety and Security introduced that the Internet currently covers 45 national economic majors and 166 middle categories, covering over 85 per cent of the industrial cluster. The industrial Internet core industry has a size of more than $12,000, an increase of 15.5 per cent over the previous year.

Experts indicated that 80 per cent of future 5G applications would be in the industrial Internet area and 5G would be embroiled for industrial Internet. The complementary effects of the 5G and industrial internets are also increasingly highlighted, and the “5G+ Industrial Internet” has become an important driving force for the digitization, networking and intelligent transformation of industries, and is bringing about intellectual change for industries.

China’s telecommunications intensive 5G+ industry

The “5G+ Industrial Internet” has continued to grow, and the enabling role for economic and social development has continued to grow. According to the White Paper on China’s Development and Economic and Social Impact (2022), published by the Chinese Institute of Commons, it is expected that in 2022 5G will direct economic output of 145 million yuan renminbi, leading directly to economic growth of about $392.9 billion.

In order to accelerate the new landscape of new technologies for the “5G+ Industrial Internet” to reach all sectors of industrial production, in recent years Chinese telecommunications have been equipped with “digital” intelligent factories, intellectual port construction, etc., and an increasing number of high-technology and new technologies have been integrated into industrial development. For example, Chinese enterprises such as telecommunications and quasi-computable, beauty and three heavy-duty enterprises have jointly constructed several five G-compatible factory plastics to achieve a set of innovative and replicable 5G-wide linking plants, such as 5G+AGV, 5G+ machine visual, 5G+ digital chips.

5G applications are growing up and scaled-up is becoming the dominant mode of development. It is known that China’s five G applications for telecommunications are now in thousands and will increase significantly in the future.

Continuing capacity of new technologies

The five-G-encompassing Plant Building Guidelines, previously issued by the Department of Safety and Security, have proposed that during the fourteenth five-year period, tens of thousands of enterprises should be promoted in five-G-wide linking plants, in 1,000 classification-level, distinctive factories, in 100 bidding plants, and in five-G integrated applications.

The digitization transition requires continuous upgrading of technology, and China’s telecommunications is making every effort to promote the scale of operations of 5G. China has spearheaded the development of 5G bugs of integrated network service capabilities in the industry. China’s telecommunications 5G-wide linking plant platform has been developed to form a “one-stop platform” model. China’s telecommunications innovation has resulted in the release of 5G capacity demonization, which provides a flexible portfolio of business programme capabilities that can be adapted to industry applications, performance needs are readable, technical programmes can be translated and business models can be adapted.

China’s telecommunications will continue to build on the goal of creating a high level of digital economic development throughout the country, vigorously promote new infrastructure, with 5G as its representative, accelerate the promotion of new applications, build a network that integrates interconnected basic networks and streamlining industry ecology, develop the full capacity advantage of “5G+ cloud+AI”, promote the replication of the 5G-wide network and further accelerate the digitization of industrial enterprises.
