Real Estate is a slow, very centralized system with multiple inefficiencies. On top of the already high rising costs of doing these transactions there is little to no transparency in the transaction nor is there any flexibility in how the transaction is financed.
Together uses the efficiencies of blockchain and crypto technology to enable new real estate services starting with our marketplace which is live today.
Built by a team of DeFi natives who have been building in the space for the past 5 years. With extensive knowledge in the RWA sector and a background in real estate.
After speaking to over 100 DeFi users the most common reason why people would want to sell their crypto holdings was for a home, or investment property. Together is ushering in a new, more incentive aligned real estate system for the next generation of home buyers and giving DeFi the building blocks to own real estate onchain.
We recognize that if we do not build an updated system to conduct real estate transactions we will be left with an even larger housing problem than we have today. Together can dramatically increase affordability and accessibility for everyone.
Incentive Alignment: Together will have a different economic mechanism than what is available to buyer and sellers today.
Decentralized: Together will be decentralized, open-source, and non-custodial where it needs to be. Together is giving developers the tools to build applications on top of the real estate users mint onchain.
User Experience: Users will have a web2 app where it makes sense, and use their wallets for payment methods, and governance where necessary**.**
Security: Each person involved in a group purchase will have to meet certain criteria to prevent bad actors.
Think Big: US Treasuries are a fraction of the market cap of US Real Estate. The opportunity to bring real estate onchain is massive. Big winners in the space will have unfair network effects and advantages. Together is designed with this in mind.
