Job Opportunity: Doing Nothing

Part-time hours. Compensation is 200 percent of local minimum wage. Employees cannot bring any objects except clothing and non-functional basic items like keys or wallet into the work area (not applicable to required medical devices or medication).

Smartphones, notebooks, backpacks et cetera are stored in a separate entry area and watched by a facilitator during active hours.

Employee is requested to do nothing for the full shift. Coercian should be kept to a mininum and so activities like meditation or sleeping are permitted. Talking to other employees is not allowed though gesturing or making non-language sounds is also acceptable.

The intention is to do nothing while also not creating a space of undue stress or limitation. Water is allowed but bathroom breaks should be kept to a minimum to avoid undermining the intentions of the role.

A good faith committment is required but recognizing that for many, doing nothing may be an incredibly difficult job, allowences for personal comfort should be made while not undermining the duties and responsibilities of the role, namely doing nothing to the highest individual ability.
