Once upon a time

Once upon a time, there was a little sparrow that lived in a forest. The sparrow was always complaining about its small size and was envious of other birds that were bigger and stronger. One day, a wise owl heard the sparrow's complaints and decided to teach it a valuable lesson.

The owl asked the sparrow to pick up a small twig and hold it in its beak. The sparrow did so, and the owl told it to fly to the top of a nearby tree. The sparrow flapped its wings furiously but was unable to reach the top of the tree. The owl then asked the sparrow to pick up a larger twig and try again. The sparrow struggled even more, and was still not successful.

Finally, the owl asked the sparrow to pick up the smallest twig it could find. The sparrow did so, and the owl asked it to fly to the top of the tree again. To the sparrow's surprise, it was able to fly all the way to the top of the tree with ease.

The owl explained to the sparrow that the size of its wings was not the only factor in determining its ability to fly. The weight of what it was carrying made a significant difference as well. The sparrow finally understood that it didn't matter how small it was, it could still achieve great things if it carried a light load.

The moral of the story is that we shouldn't compare ourselves to others and feel envious of their abilities or possessions. Each one of us has our unique strengths and talents, and we should focus on nurturing and developing them instead of being envious of others.
