From group of friends to mini organization hosting tournaments and events

Tree gang is a group of people who originated from a roleplay conversation in the archived Memes channel between DanIsNearby, Ares, APAAH, and iamalive. The concept of Tree Gang first appeared 5 days before its official creation, but the official creation of the role and channel occurred on October 20, 2021. Unfortunately, no recorded messages from that timeline exist due to DisplayDD’s attack and sabotage on the first unsecured tree house.

It wasn’t always so colorful in Tree Gang we had some darker days this are some of the stories about the worst times that we needed to face below is one of the problems we faced.

DisplayDD one day was caught breaking the Tree Gang’s most important rule at the time, “No simping allowed.” This tragic event resulted in his kick. He was so enraged that he went to get a propane tank and a lighter and decided to burn down our still-in-construction Tree House. Luckily, we were able to recover our valuables, but the archive, which contained all of our members’ conversations, was destroyed. But after all those years we forgiven DisplayDD and we are leaving in peace with him and Shibas

Despite all bad that happened to us all described things just made us stronger as Dan once said “Tree Gang is like a phoenix if it will die it will rise from the ashes 5 times stronger”

People from Metaguild who wanted to join Tree Gang had to answer four questions: 1.Why you want to join? 2.How long per day could you spend on talking on voice chat? 3.How long per day could you spend chatting on Tree Gang text channel? 4.Are you a simp? / what do you think about squirrels?

What happend after that? It is simple we gathered a meeting in our tree house and discussed if the person is worth it to be part of our team.

Regardless of how far we've come, we're not going to stop or slow down; instead, we'll grow faster and bigger. For the time being, our goal is to bring more attention to Tree Gang and to reach out to more people through our events and activities.

Tree Gang is a fun way to meet new people, compete with them, and win great prizes in a variety of games such as Fall Guys, GeoGuessr, and chess. We are mostly active on Twitter but we also have our own webiste.

For me tree gang is like home inside Metaguild i can always go to 🌳│tree-gang channel and ask people to help me out with something i know i can always count on them and that together we can build great stuff and host wonderful events ~DanIsNearby

Tree gang for me is the place where I learned about metaguild the most, it was like a haven I joined when I was a new member. Felt nice to have older members being super nice and helpful so much it felt like a home to me and it still does. It’s where I met new friends that felt like I knew them for a long time hehe.
