I took a picture
of a squirrel, but she was
too quick to capture.
And suddenly, autumn is here. Summer has passed by so quickly. Not unlike the squirrel I saw the other day. I really like squirrels. Have liked them since I was a little kid. Even did a presentation about them when I was in primary school. So, I wanted, as we do these days, to take a photo of it. But she was, of course, too quick. The moment passed by so fast.
Not unlike life. It's almost a year since my mother passed away, almost 7 since my dad passed away. When lives end, you are confronted with its fleeting nature. You're reminded to enjoy the sweet moments of life, to not wait for Christmas (or Thanksgiving if you're American) to have that family dinner. To say your "I love you"s before it's too late.
And then we forget all about that. Until the next reminder.
For me, that was this squirrel. So, dear readers: thank you for being here. I love you.

This time, because we are thinking of time passing by, I am sharing a poem I created a few years ago. It's one of my earlier NFTs that is still available for collection.
