Lazy Soccer: soccer, sloths, NFT

When I first saw this project, I immediately had a dissonance in my head — how are soccer, sloths and NFT connected?

I decided to study it in more detail and prepared a small review of the project

Lazy Soccer is a football management simulator developed with NFT integrations

Briefly about the idea of the game

In the application we are invited to manage our soccer team completely composed of lazy characters. The personnel of our team will be represented in the form of NFT (Lazy Soccer Staff collection), the level of which will affect the ability to improve the parameters of your team. The application will not do without the standard functionality of using NFT in crypto-games — NFT pumping, “breeding”, exchange, trade, etc.

A short demo of the prototype interface and functionality of the game:

The project team focuses our attention on the fact that the level of NFT, although it affects the results of our soccer team, but is not a determining factor. It is reported that the success of the team will also depend very much on good strategic planning of the manager (you) and the right use of tactics in specific matches. ⚽️Fans of playing Football Manager should appreciate it I hope this will be true and the NFT level won’t be a “win for the money” role

To get access to the full version of the game you will need to be a holder of at least 1 NFT from the Lazy Soccer Staff collection (not yet released).

I’ll talk more about NFT collections in the next article

Earnings in the game

The main ways to make money in the game are winning tournaments and trading NFT. Here, in principle, everything makes sense. There will be an internal NFT-marketplace in the game, where players will operate the standard principle of supply and demand. This will form the prices of in-game NFTs.

Rewards can be in project tokens as well as NFTs. Unfortunately, there is no information about the token itself and what kind of NFTs will act as rewards

I also noticed the phrase regarding earning in the game:

“Lazy Soccer is not a ‘classic’ Play2Earn game. We can’t promise you a guaranteed income”.

At least this phrase indicates that the project’s team has no goal to attract new users to the application with the offer “play and earn money”, what can’t make you happy. Most of all pyramid games use an offer with the offer of 100% income in the game, which at some period of time will SCAM.

Game Unions

In my opinion, an important feature of the game will be the ability to create their own game Unions, which will add to the game itself such a component as “community”. And as we know the community — this is one of the foundations of a successful project.

Players will be able to invest in their game Union and subsequently, participating in competitions between Unions, to be rewarded proportionally to their contribution.

Only owners of NFT Lazy Alpha will be able to create their own Union.

Each game Union will have its own treasury consisting of Union membership fees and awards for participation in tournaments. Funds from the treasury can be used to improve the Union buildings. In turn, these buildings provide in-game bonuses to all Union members.

Unions will also receive points for winning matches. These points can be spent in the Union store for boosters, consumables (it is unclear what this means) and new players

What is my personal impression of the game format?

Like many soccer fans, I am interested and close to the idea of the concept of the game. Also what makes it interesting is that it’s not just a “push the buttons” game, but it will require thinking) (at least I hope so).

If we consider other parts of crypto-project analysis (NFT, social networks, community), it’s pretty good there too.

I’ll tell more about this in the next articles…
