Dear Turf Community,
First and foremost, we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to you. Your belief in Turf and the potential of blockchain technology has fueled our work since the beginning. We dove into this experiment with a straightforward hypothesis – that by crafting well-designed, skillfully executed features, we could organically attract a robust community of users.
We take pride in the progress we've made over the last year and a half. Together, we built an entire city, crafted tools to support our community near and far, and launched numerous updates, each one designed to enhance your experience and bring Turf to life.
The market is now at a crossroads. Either it will bounce back, or it will continue on its current trajectory. In either scenario, we're faced with a difficult truth – the market is, by every metric we can measure, on life support.
While we would love to continue developing Turf indefinitely, we must consider our team's sustainability. We’re taking actions to weather the storm and be ready for when, or if, the market recovers. This decision was not made lightly, and we fully understand the disappointment this news may bring.
Our immediate plans include keeping the servers up, seeking ways to lower overhead costs, and enhancing our infrastructure to make it better and more cost-effective. We have a few minor updates planned, and we remain committed to deploying them. However, we will be pausing major feature releases for the time being, as it's impractical to dedicate resources for a mass audience that is currently absent.
Our service Proxybot will remain operational for now. Unfortunately, our attempts to form partnerships with other projects have largely been unsuccessful, as most are already moving away from web3. TomoBOTchi’s launch is shelved indefinitely, as we and other creators in the space reassess the current market timing.
In this moment of uncertainty, we want to express our immense gratitude to all of you who have been with us from the start. Your unwavering support, invaluable feedback, and encouragement have been our beacon through both high tides and low.
While this chapter may be closing, we hope to continue this journey together in the future.

Thank you for being part of our Turf community.
Sincerely, MT & Doug
