I am working on my project that aims to solve Proof of Work issue for developers by providing them private claims on their achievements that can be used to generate proofs.

Progress Report:

  • Setting up issuer node in AWS EC2

  • Add login feature in mobile app to support easy authentication

  • Add wallet connect support to the mobile app

  • Setup method to mint SBT as public proof of work for developer

Setting up issuer node in AWS EC2

The overall process to setup on AWS is same as having local node the only difference is running the Redis & Postgres separately and linking them with the main EC2 instance.

This was my first time using AWS at this scale, super product of myself ✊🏼

Adding easy login feature in mobile app

As a builder, my priority is to bring maximum people onboard with minimum stress. So, I decided to use Github authentication using web3auth to onboard developers.

Need to build an open-system down the line anyway.

That’s why I am integrating wallet connect support too.

Minting SBT for public claim

The idea is to showcase the public identity as developer with achievements and method to mint non-transferrable NFT. But the challenge is who will pay for the gas fees so I thought to pay by myself.

Next Steps:

  • Create a verifier website UI for demo

  • Fix issues in schemas for claims about Hackathons

  • Build a simple issuer frontend for issuers connecting to our hosted node
