Hello, beautiful community,

Behind every warrior supported, every post shared, and every newsletter sent, there are hours of quiet work dedicated to meeting our warriors' immediate needs and honoring their dreams. And with your support, it is work we are deeply grateful to do.

In April alone, eight cancer warriors reached out to us asking for support. We’ve already been able to step in for two of them, including Iulia, who reached out for help in her coaching journey. If you missed it, you can catch up and read Iulia's story here:

Another warrior will be sharing their story later, and support for the other five is currently underway. Our priority is to listen to those five warrior, figure out exactly what they actually need, and how to make it happen. We aren’t ready to share their stories just yet—first, we have to make sure they are taken care of. But we will introduce them to you soon.

Wrapping up April: Head, neck, esophageal, & testicular cancers

As April ends, we want to pause on the cancers we’ve been raising awareness for all month: Head & Neck, Esophageal, and Testicular cancer.

These are tough, often silent battles. Head & Neck and Esophageal cancers attack the very ways we connect—stealing a person’s voice or making it impossible to sit down and just share a meal with family.

Testicular cancer brings a different fight; it's wrapped in stigma and silence because it's a conversation people often avoid having. This month was about breaking that silence and reminding the warriors fighting these specific battles that they aren't invisible.

Looking to May: Brain, skin, bladder, & the mind

Next week, we turn the calendar to May. Our focus will shift to Skin Cancer, Bladder Cancer, and Brain Cancer—three very different fights that require their own kind of awareness and support.

Brain cancer, in particular, is a devastating battle that alters how a warrior physically and cognitively experiences the world, and it requires an immense amount of grace and community support.

We are also dedicating May to Mental Health Awareness . Because surviving the treatment is only half the battle. The anxiety, the grief, and the trauma don't just disappear when the hospital visits stop. We have to talk about the mind just as much as the body.

Thank you for standing in the gap and making this work possible.

See you next week.

TCW team.
