Cancer is a thief. It doesn’t just take your health; it steals your time, your identity, and the moments that make motherhood beautiful.
In 2024, ten days before her 27th birthday, Taya’s life was hijacked by a Stage 2A diagnosis. She was a student and a full-time worker, but suddenly, her only job was survival. She sat her five-year-old son down and told him she’d be "sick for a little bit," keeping the word cancer a secret to protect his childhood for just a little longer.

The season of NOOOO
What followed was a brutal season of "No." Taya endured dose-dense chemotherapy that left her with bone pain, neuropathy, and fevers. While she was fighting the "Red Devil," she was also fighting in a courtroom, navigating a custody battle for her son while her body was forced into medical menopause.
After a double mastectomy, she waited for the "all clear." Instead, the news shattered her: the tumor had grown to 9cm and broken into her bloodstream. She was now Stage 3. In the middle of this nightmare, the person she leaned on most (her caregiver) decided his part was done and left her to face 30 rounds of radiation alone.
The Birthday That Wasn't
Last year, Taya missed her son’s 6th birthday. She was too weak to stand, too sick to move. While he was at Disneyland, she was trapped in a hospital bed, missing the laughter and the photos. Cancer had stolen her favorite day.
The Triumph of Yeeeees Girl
But Taya is a warrior. In October 2025, she reached the milestone she fought for: Remission.
Next month, her son turns seven. This year, there are no hospital walls. Because of this community, Taya is taking back what was stolen.
Last night, we have funded her dream to take her son to Harry Potter world!😍

For the first time in a year, she isn't a patient; she is just a mom watching her living angel's eyes light up with magic.

Who Is Next?
Taya’s victory is the fuel for our mission, but while she packs her bags, five more sisters are waiting for their own "Yes". We are raising $3000 to give each of these women an equal grant.
The Light Keeper: A single mom finishing chemo in a dark house because her electricity was cut.
The Hope Spreader: A 16-year thriver with brain mets who needs to get to a summit to mentor others.
The Legacy Mom: A mother navigating exhaustion who needs meal and home support to focus on her little girl.
Big Momma: The pillar of the community who has hit a wall and needs a mental health reset.
The Healer: A survivor ready to launch free yoga classes, needing only the gear to start.
We gave Taya her magic. Now, let’s do it five more times.
