I recently saw an old Volkswagen Kombi for sale with a slogan I loved:
βThe friendship-making machine is for sale.β
It wasn't about the engine or the condition of the body. It was about what really matters.
Because a Kombi was never just a means of transportation. It was a meeting point. A vehicle that, almost without intending to, sparked conversations at gas stations, beaches, or on the road. It forced you to interact. To share. To stop.
And that idea stuck with me.
More than utility, connection
In the digital worldβand especially in the crypto ecosystemβwe're used to measuring everything in terms of performance, cycles, and metrics. What's up. What's down. What's profitable.
But there's something that often goes unnoticed: the capacity of certain spaces to generate real connection between people.
That's where I see the parallel with TYSM.
TYSM isn't simply a digital asset. It's not just a visual identity or a creative experiment. It's a meeting point. An excuse to start conversations that probably wouldn't exist in any other context.
When someone joins TYSM, they're not just acquiring something. They're joining a network of people who share codes, references, and a desire to build something different.
Community as a core value
The true value of a project isn't always in its financial promise. Sometimes it's in its ability to generate community.
TYSM allows you to:
Express your identity dynamically.
Interact with other creators.
Build a reputation within an environment that values ββauthenticity.
Participate in something that evolves with its members.
That can't be forced. It's built.
And when it works, the result isn't just engagement. It's belonging.
The value that goes untraceable
A VW bus took you from point A to point B. But what made it special was what happened along the way. Something similar happens with TYSM. Beyond the market, beyond the cycles, what remains are the relationships that are formed, the collaborations that are born, and the shared stories.
In an environment where everything seems volatile, human connection is the only thing that truly endures.
Perhaps that's why the comparison makes sense.
TYSM is neither bull nor bear.
It is, like that old VW Kombi, a friend-making machine.

Good morning, friends! I'm sharing with you a new article I wrote for TGJ. Not everything is measured in graphs. Some things are built along the way. This article talks about that. About what truly moves a community and why, sometimes, the greatest value isn't what you have, but who you share it with. Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone! π«π https://paragraph.com/@tysm/tysm-a-friendship-making-machine
