The Web3 Era

Web3 is the new frontier of the internet owned by the builders and users, orchestrated with tokens.

Much unlike the present state of the internet which is controlled by a handful of large and powerful centralized networks like Facebook, Apple, Google, Amazon, in web3 ownership and control is decentralized. Both builders and users can own a piece of internet services by owning tokens, both fungible and non-fungible (NFTs). These tokens give it's owners property rights: the ability to own a piece of the internet. Tokens fungible and non-fungible alike exist on top of blockchains like Ethereum and Solana.

There are various ways users can acquire tokens, you can buy them and there are also ways to earn them by contributing to blockchain networks.

Tokens align network participants to work together toward a common goal - the growth of the network and appreciation of the token. This fixes the core problem of centralized networks, where the value is accumulated by one company.

Before web3, users and builders had to choose between the limited functionality of web1 or the corporate, centralized model of web2.

Web3 offers a new way that combines the best aspects of the previous eras. It's early in this movement and a great time to get involved.
