Zksync Airdrop

ZkSync is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that uses zero-knowledge proofs to enable faster and cheaper transactions. The team behind ZkSync recently announced an airdrop of their governance token, $ZKS, to early adopters of the protocol.

The airdrop will distribute a total of 200,000 $ZKS tokens to eligible users who have interacted with ZkSync prior to the announcement. This includes users who have deposited or withdrawn funds from the protocol, as well as those who have used the zkSwap decentralized exchange (DEX) built on top of ZkSync.

To be eligible for the airdrop, users must have completed at least one transaction on ZkSync before March 15, 2023, and must have a verified Ethereum address. The amount of $ZKS received will be proportional to the user's activity on the protocol, with more active users receiving a larger share of the airdrop.

$ZKS is the governance token of ZkSync, and holders can use it to vote on proposals and changes to the protocol. In addition, $ZKS holders will be eligible to receive a share of the transaction fees generated by the protocol.

The ZkSync team has emphasized that the airdrop is intended to reward early adopters of the protocol and to encourage further adoption and usage. They also noted that this is just the first of several planned airdrops, and that future airdrops will be open to a wider range of users.

Overall, the ZkSync airdrop represents an opportunity for early users of the protocol to receive a stake in its governance and future success. As the use of Layer 2 scaling solutions continues to grow on Ethereum, ZkSync's focus on zero-knowledge proofs could make it a key player in the ecosystem.
