The new humanism is a prodigal return to the genius of man as the foundation and origin of society rather than other foundations (corporatism). By rejecting money as sole obligation and motive for life, we retake the agency to organize according to principles we all hold in common as humans. Principles necessary in order to fulfill our shared eternal obligation- to respect and value human life.
The new humanism: to create as humans, for humans. To believe again in a human network which relates human meaning, human value, for the purpose of human life.
The new humanism recognizes that "the vital laws enclose all". That our nature possess an inherent value that is of its’ nature. This nature , just as other nature, is an engine of complexity, always seeking greater expression of form, density, oneness- and from this bringing new life (culturing, fermentation, soil). We are the apex and quintessential creators of life's succession by complexity, entrusted with symbolic capacity- our words can “make whole”.
By asserting that "the vital laws enclose all"; we assert the value logic of human nature. The genius of human social networks, the bodies’ sense of proportion and control; the inherent human appetites: those for greater and greater form in nature, for greater beauty, for greater flavor, for greater joy, for greater love which all sum towards the encompassing notion of the greater succession of life.
The new humanism asserts that "to create" is to "create life" and that all creative works are strategies of health, which is a state of communion. Communion which discovers meaning with "the other", pioneers of meaning discovery describing and composing what we belong to and depend on- ourselves, our common world, and our communities. This artistic imperative brings us back "down to earth" with new agency for our creative practices; to produce healing by symbolic composition, or damage by symbolic division. The most valuable culture is vital culture.
"To be creative, is only to have health". By removing profit as principal motive, we enable culture itself to speak via art objects representative of the individuals, which live in that culture. This imperative refocuses attention, trust, energy into our ourselves, when done with sufficient elegance conveys universality.
The renaissance man -the universal man- 'uomo universale'
A silent internet returns our attention to ourselves
Decentralized value systems return our right to value what is ours
The new humanism returns our symbolic practices towards the succession of life
The new humanism is the vision required for the healing of our bodies, communities, and territories by bringing them into an alignment of our direction, to heal is to bring what is scattered, together.
To compose is both the creative practice, and the healing practice.
The healing agenda is the the life agenda- the broadest scope for action- the new rationality of value- a new civilizational process for life-
