The obstacles researchers face when looking for funding in academia, Science, and healthcare have become infamous over time. Scientists, scholars, and even students are pushed to submit to bureaucratic constraints and questionable requirements just for their work to be available to the public.
These drawbacks exemplify the field's limitations and, in the face of these ongoing global struggles, the need for a project capable of overcoming these setbacks was made evident. This is why ViralCure was created.
With this in mind, we are proud to announce the first version of our platform!
With the launch of this pilot, a proof-of-concept version of our app, we want to give the community a sneak peek at DeSci's groundbreaking potential. Users ready to begin interacting with the pilot will have the chance to create their own profile, catch up on labs and projects currently fundraising, and collect artistic NFTs contributing funds to the fundraising campaigns.
This first view at the ViralCure pilot holds direct sales of artistic NFTs as a way to help fund scientific initiatives at our project hub. For those users eager to purchase NFTs, you can simply connect your wallet and grab them from the VC market. From there on, the ViralCure pilot is open for all users to make it their own.
This is just the beginning, but all of the efforts established up until now are the result of a community-first approach. More than simply navigating the application, we'd like to remind our community that the pilot is ready to receive as much feedback as required to meet optimal user experience. With that in mind, feel free to leave your comments on our user feedback Discord channel.
This pilot is the first milestone to provide us with the understanding required to effectively take part in aiding Science as a whole, allowing significant conversations with those akin to our purpose. The ViralCure pilot is the first version of many future outputs to be carefully coordinated by the efforts of our team, and the input of our community is the lifeline of it all.
