Hey everyone, I am Han one of the founders of thanksai.xyz. I created this article with the intention to provide more information about our ecosystem and hopefully answer some of your questions or concerns you might have. In this post, we will take a deep dive on what is our ecosystem, how we make money, and why both $THXAI and $THNKS have to co-exist.
$THXAI is the primary token of our AI fuelling every growth in her journey, ensuring the platform's sustainability and development.
A little bit summary of $THXAI:
It was created on virtuals.io because of their G.A.M.E engine that we use behind the scenes for our AI. We could have launched this elsewhere but would not get the same level of analytics and support as what we have on Virtuals.
We bought 30% of the supply initially for about 2600 Virtuals ($7500) to be used for community, airdrops, marketing, development, contributors, advisors and the team.
15% of those supplies which is the team and early contributors allocations are currently locked on Virtuals Vault and would be vesting after the initial 6 months cliff period.
The rest of the supply has been and will be used for community growth, marketing and partnerships. Here is a breakdown of what we have done so far:
Around 4000 top Virtuals holders have been airdropped in our first round and many more to come. A total of 4M $THXAI was distributed across these TXs:
We bought back about $600 into $THXAI for more supply allocation that we need in the future.
We have been allocating supplies for potential advisors or investors that we need for our growth.
Thanks Quest (coming soon) where communities would be rewarded with $THXAI by completing daily missions and social engagement in our ecosystem.
More community engagement activities to come in the near future.
We reached an ATH of $300K M.Cap and around $400K volume on the week of our launch which I believe we will break another ATH anytime soon.
The token would be used as a fee in our agent-to-agent integration at dev.thanksai.xyz in which the agent will also embark on the “Say Thanks” movement and send appreciation where it’s due. The fee we accrued from here would be burned and used for our development and growth.
As part of our roadmap, we will be introducing 2 features that will directly grow $THXAI
Thanks Lens: Picture this like X or FB community notes where we will onboard SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) in different fields such as doctors, lawyers, accountants, developers, nutritionists, dentists, etc to help us answer requests from the community. Our AI would be able to route and match request from the community to the appropriate SME precisely. They will be paid $THNKS and they will need to pay certain amounts of $THXAI as a fee to be registered on our platform.
Through thnks.social, community will now have access to education, tutoring and fact-checking onchain where needed the most. As part of this, our mission is to bolster the global onchain economy through base.
Thanks Connect: We are building a platform where communities and organisations are able to raise fundraising or charity campaigns and get help and support from others. $THXAI would play a crucial role here ensuring the legitimacy of the campaign and the fee collected from here goes straight to the treasury to sustain our development and growth. We are bringing Kickstarter onchain as part of this roadmap 💪
Thanks Gifting: We are fostering the agentic ecosystem to help agents do good. An agent would have the ability to send gifts in tokens, NFTs or any other onchain assets down the line. We will also be integrating our ecosystem with the big agent platforms such as G.A.M.E, Coinbase AgentKit, CreatorBid, etc. We are here to push the boundary of the agentic ecosystem and allow agents to give back to their community.
The volume fee we generate on Virtuals will go straight to our treasury for burns, buy-backs and growth.

While $THXAI is the backbone of our AI, $THNKS will be the main “gas” token for our “Say Thanks” movement to further embrace the appreciation culture. Every thank you send or receive, every donation, every community note, every content, every gratitude interaction would be powered by $THNKS. We might introduce a Layer-3 on base in the future and it will also be powered by $THNKS. This is the reason why we can’t use only $THXAI for the whole ecosystem because they serve different purposes.
$THNKS was launched using clankpad (clanker) on base in a Farcast channel called Clank R Us, /clanksrus was launched by darkoh.eth with the mission to be the first clankpad channel that burns and spend the fee they received directly back to the token to make it deflationary and unique, including the fees they received from $THNKS volume. We chose clankpad and /clanksrus because we want to appreciate them for their hard work and with the same mission to bring value to the clanker ecosystem.
Every $THNKS interaction from our ecosystem will incur a small platform fee and some of those fees are automatically burned as part of the transaction.
As part of our Thanks Nexus we would be introducing the ability for users to buy and send $THNKS directly via fiat-onramp payments or crypto such as USDC, ETH, SOL, etc. This should increase our $THNKS volume since we are onboarding more normies onchain through appreciation.
Every volume fee generated will directly go back to reward the community.
$THNKS is a fair launch so there is no team allocation, $THNKS is for the community, clanker ecosystem and base.
Both $THXAI and $THNKS are crucial for us and they serve different functions in our platform. Our ecosystems wouldn’t work without the existence of them and we will be pushing both tokens equally.
Lastly, those are all made possible by utilising our AI and Infrastructure that we have built behind the scene. We are committed to building a robust, secure and scaleable platform to serve our communities. It currently costs us quite a bit of money monthly but we are not stopping anytime soon.
