   Just finished METAVERSE by @ballmatthew and it's a seminal work on Web2, The Metaverse and the future.
   
   He also sort of made the case against us being in a simulation given the technical concurrency requirements to do so but that's for another day

  All it takes is 1 game to bring confidence in the genre and the whole space will benefit but we also need to weed out & call out the trash

  once we know the path the consensus will rapidly converge and you get the virtuous flywheel of vcs funding and an order of magnitude more games building
  
  same thing happened with defi - “compound moment”
