Minted NFTs for completed projects
Meet venture capitals, network with startup founders & attend talks
Challenge topics: DeFi, gaming, Web 3.0 tools & protocols, NFT and DAO
Web 3.0 will be an evolutionary leap forward for the Internet. Powered by blockchain, it promises to broaden the boundaries on what is possible.
From AI to 3D to the Internet of Things, the semantic web and spatial web, Web 3.0 will soon be all around us, dictating our everyday lives. Web 3.0 Hackathon will focus on encouraging new projects and tools in Web 3.0 related spaces, including DeFi, gaming, web 3.0 tools & protocols, NFT and DAO.
Compared to other hackathon events, which place limitations on innovation, Web 3.0 Hackathon will not. Developers are free to choose whichever blockchain they prefer to deploy for projects. The aim of Web 3.0 Hackathon is to unleash builders’ innovation.
If you are an indie developer who is keen to make your mark on this exciting future, this event is for you. The decision you make today may be your most important one.
Minted NFTs for completed projects
The organizers of Web 3.0 Hackathon are also offering Web3Builder minted NFTs as rewards to all participants who successfully conceive, design, and submit product ideas. Click here to find out about the process and requirements for claiming the NFTs.
The Graph Workshop
Web 3.0 Hackathon will also feature workshops and webinars by blockchain experts. One of these is the Graph workshop which will be conducted by Pranav Maheshwari, a popular speaker at blockchain conferences and an active promoter and adviser on web 3.0 projects.
The Graph is an indexing protocol for querying networks like Ethereum and IPFS. It allows anyone to build and publish open APIs, called subgraphs, making data easily accessible. Before the Graph, teams had to develop and operate proprietary indexing servers, which required significant engineering and hardware resources, and also hindered important security properties required for decentralization.

Ecological bounty
A US$7,000 Ecological Bounty Award is also given to the project that best applies the Internet Computer Stack during development.
There is a top prize of US$25,000. In total US$92,000 in prizes will be given away.
