With great success comes great change. And this community has succeeded in becoming a loving space to drive global change, in some ways even surpassing what I envisioned. Your passion, love, and drive to save the world has now outgrown the need for my leadership. So with gratitude, I am formally stepping down as the director and project owner of the Koala Intelligence Agency.

What began as an experiment in the web3 space has slowly grown into a mission to help conserve Koalas and the environment we share with them.  Due to the enthusiasm of this community, I believe that mission is truly coming to fruition.

As all founders do, I wanted this project to succeed. I wanted our Koalas to compete with the best, not just by being the best, but by doing what’s best. And that’s saving the world through philanthropy and good deeds.

I got to witness us all grow together. But a web3 project should not need a founder to keep growing. The web3 space was built on decentralization so it’s time to be true to our shared goal and hand over the reins to the passionate community of Koala Agents.

1. The K.I.A. Contract and The Recruits Contract will be left in the hands of the community.

2. Within the community, there are 5 signers who have been there from the beginning.

   1. The Accountant, Bromelia, Jwlpt45, Wes, Speg

3. The community will receive largest share of the ongoing royalties to continue the mission

   1. 95% goes to the community

   2. 5% goes to the artist

4. The community will also receive the official K.I.A. Discord and Twitter account so they can own the platform where our message continues to grow.

As my final act in the name of our community, I am donating $10,000 USD to the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, a charity that rescues and rehabilitates Koalas and other animals in the ecosystem.

This number is not an attempt to put a price on our cause nor is it an attempt to put a price on our community. Instead, it is a number representative of us as a whole. It is $2 for every Koala holder and $1 for every Koala collectable. 10,000 is who we are and it is an acknowledgment that it was each and every one of you that gave our cause a voice in the first place.

I want to thank everyone who made this experiment possible. I am thankful for the friendships, the connections, and the community for joining in our mission to save the world.
