Li Ang, deputy leader of the quarantine and detection working group of the leading group for the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic in Beijing, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission and spokesman, informed that in order to smoothly and orderly carry out the normalized nucleic acid detection from May 5, the specific requirements for nucleic acid detection are as follows according to the personnel category:

First, employees in five risk industries such as express delivery, circulation operation, hotel, transportation, decoration and loading and unloading, personnel in four risk places such as medical institutions, schools, elderly care institutions and small pharmacies and clinics, and personnel in three risk areas such as designated hospitals and isolation places, airports at ports of entry, urban-rural fringe and urban villages, with a total of 20 key groups, carry out normalized nucleic acid detection and screening according to existing regulations. If the key population fails to detect nucleic acid as required, “Beijing health treasure” will pop up a window.

Second, the personnel of Party and government organs, enterprises and institutions and other social units in Beijing shall be tested for nucleic acid once a week.

Third, personnel entering and returning to Beijing must hold the negative certificate of nucleic acid test within 48 hours and the green code of “Beijing health treasure” before boarding and boarding. Nucleic acid test shall be carried out 24 hours and 72 hours after arriving in Beijing. At the same time, in order to ensure the coordination and unification of policies, the requirements for nucleic acid testing of commuters entering and returning to Beijing are adjusted. Since May 5, commuters must hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours for the first time, and a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 7 days for each time they enter and return to Beijing.

Fourth, other personnel in the city will conduct nucleic acid testing once a week.

Recently, after three rounds of regional nucleic acid testing, for those who have not conducted nucleic acid testing once, “Beijing health treasure” will pop up a window. These personnel are requested to conduct supplementary inspection and measurement as soon as possible.

In order to ensure the smooth and orderly implementation of normal testing and maximize the convenience of citizens to carry out testing, nucleic acid testing will be free to citizens from May 3, and the expenses will be jointly borne by financial funds and medical insurance funds. At the same time, we will further optimize the layout of nucleic acid sampling outlets in the city, ensure that sufficient and scientific sampling outlets are set up in each district, and make them known to the public in time.
