You may have seen Tai's face on one of your Youtube Ads back in the mid 2015s. He'd be hanging out in his garage with his sports cars, touting his entrepreneurial power of books and knowledge. (Or as Tai would say it "Nawwwledge").

Well this past weekend, Tai was the talk of NFT Land with his most recent drop. This man had the audacity to auction off leisurely activities. The auction style was a reverse Dutch Auction (where the price increases after a certain amount of time, contrary to the market's norm).

Some of my favorites include: a game of HORSE with Tai (for 18.4ETH = ~$46,500 ), 1 on 1 Watch A Movie with Tai (for 12.27 ETH = ~$31,000) and a 1 on 1 FaceTime Call (for 7.2 ETH = ~$20,000). 

The public distrusts the space as is. This cash grabby project only makes people more wary. Hard to onboard newcomers when there are snake oil critters like him lurking...

NFT Twitter held him accountable by pumping out memes galore. They ran him off the blockchain with open criticism. The project failed to sell-out, meaning the "watchers of the chain" rightfully protected the novice trader.

Reputation is everything. It certainly isn't easy to build a lasting community around your brand/product. Yet, I think we all know the first rule - even without having to pick up a book - Don't scam your customers.
