Thoughts on decentralization

The Web as we knew it is dead. The desire for a more inclusive, humanistic, impactful, self-sovereign virtual space is not!

Now is the time to ask ourselves how can we set the course of Web3 through the fundamentals of digital humanism to remain committed to the values of human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, and human rights?

Now is the time to ask ourselves how can we fix the flaws and injustices of Web2 and restore the original promise of the Internet of “power to the people”  through a new kind of radical experimentation, empathy, and kindness that (at least seems) much harder to achieve in the real world?

Now is the time to be as aggressive about shaping a better future as those who are investing to build it and believe that Web3 is the rise of the ultimate deplatformization, participation and democratization.

At the dawn of the techno-optimism era, we must be comprised to build a new society on the standards of a more cooperative life, coming together as activists, artists, entrepreneurs and communities committed to a free exchange of ideas in an environment of thoughtful discourse to build a new humanistic (and cryptographic) concept of trust.

And thus inevitably, it became my life mission to boost meaningful products, connections, diversity and a positive impact on the Web3 space as I do believe that the positive wave that is being raised through decentralization will rival and surpass the physical reality.

So, do expect my best efforts to not only advocate to make the virtual world better per se, but to use it to make the real one better as well.

Couldn’t say it better than Vitalik Buterin in his TIME interview:

*"Ultimately the goal of crypto is not to play games with million-dollar pictures of monkeys, it’s to do things that accomplish meaningful effects in the real world,” - Vitalik Buterin Mar 14, 2022

**We are so early and yes, we have the right to choose our own future!" I am building the world where I want to live.
