The Best of 2022 list grows even longer this week, with four records coming out within the past week.
Fred Again.. is someone who needs no introduction at this point, and deservedly so. His third LP in the Actual Life series is here, and if you aren't into Fred by now, please check that your soul is still contained within your corporeal form.
Bibio, a long-standing and under-listened-to singer / songwriter / producer who put out his TENTH full-length last week, BIB10, has completely reinvented himself while remaining unmistakably himself: Bibio, now with way more vibes!
Hermanos Guitiérrez's newest long-player continues their Spaghetti Western movie soundtracking of films that only exist in their minds. They even got Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys on a track, which should be all you need to know to give it a spin.
Nosaj Thing, an innovator that can hardly be classified, has come a long way since his seminal breakout in 2009. Continua is unexpected and richly conceived, with more features than I could list here.
