Telegram founder Pavel Durov just said on his TG personal channel that Telegram channels can now publish stories. Stories on Telegram are more visible than most apps because they appear on the home screen. With Boosts, users can give their favorite channels the ability to post stories.

In the future, Boosts will also unlock additional features for channels, such as custom reactions, emoji statuses, or custom backgrounds. To prevent abuse, only Premium users can boost channels. For channels with real subscribers, collecting Boosts shouldn't be difficult, while those with fake followers may struggle (larger channels require more Boosts to unlock stories).
